Prefab FireplacesWOOD BURNING SYSTEMS:

Heat Circulating Fireplaces, have the capacity to heat and vent room air through a special chamber built into the firebox. Hearth sizes from 36" to 42". These units use either double wall air cooled chimney pipe or solid insulated chimney pipe.

Refractory Fireplaces, have the look and feel of a traditional masonry fireplace. Hearth sizes from 36" to 46". These units use either double wall air cooled chimney pipe or solid insulated chimney pipe.

There are numerous styles to choose from including see-through, island, corner and traditional in wall installations all in various levels of trim. Both type units are set up to burn wood and have accommodations that allow for the use of gas fired log sets as well. The systems do not allow for switching back and forth between gas and wood.

Up Vent Gas Fireplaces, dedicated gas burning units use the latest in artificial log technology, complete with glowing embers and flames that dance across the logs. Traditional “B-vent” gas chimney pipe is used. Hearth sizes range from 34" to 42" and come as heat circulating or refractory applications.

Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces, dedicated gas burning units that require no chimney other than what is necessary to get it out through the wall. There is no vertical rise to the chimney.

Like the wood burning systems, these gas units come in any number of styles and trim levels. They are available in natural gas or LP gas set ups and burn only air supplied from outside the house.

All Heatilator Fireplaces are tested as a system with Heatilator brand chimney pipe and are either UL, AGA or CGA listed.
