WOOD
BURNING SYSTEMS:
Heat Circulating Fireplaces, have the capacity to
heat and vent room air through a special chamber built
into the firebox. Hearth sizes from 36" to
42". These units use either double wall air cooled
chimney pipe or solid insulated chimney pipe.
Refractory Fireplaces, have the look and feel of a
traditional masonry fireplace. Hearth sizes from
36" to 46". These units use either double wall
air cooled chimney pipe or solid insulated chimney pipe.
There are numerous styles to choose from including
see-through, island, corner and traditional in wall
installations all in various levels of trim. Both type
units are set up to burn wood and have accommodations
that allow for the use of gas fired log sets as well.
The systems do not allow for switching back and forth
between gas and wood.

GAS
BURNING SYSTEMS:
Up Vent Gas Fireplaces, dedicated gas burning units
use the latest in artificial log technology, complete
with glowing embers and flames that dance across the
logs. Traditional “B-vent” gas chimney pipe is used.
Hearth sizes range from 34" to 42" and come as
heat circulating or refractory applications.
Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces, dedicated gas burning units
that require no chimney other than what is necessary to
get it out through the wall. There is no vertical rise
to the chimney.
Like the wood burning systems, these gas units come in
any number of styles and trim levels. They are available
in natural gas or LP gas set ups and burn only air
supplied from outside the house.
All Heatilator Fireplaces are tested as a system
with Heatilator brand chimney pipe and are either UL,
AGA or CGA listed.
